I live in an apartment building on the 3rd floor. Mailman puts yellow notice in my mailbox to go to post office to get my package. He delivers large and small packages to tenants who live on the first and second floor only — he said his union states that he doesnt have to go to the 3rd floor if building has no elevator. (what happened to customer service? Don't we pay for these services up front via stamps and taxes?) now ups - united parcel service driver was too lazy to bring my package to my door on the third floor. He left it by the mailboxes on the first floor — how do i know — well after waiting and waiting and waiting — i called ups — sure enough it was noted in the drivers records that he left the package inside the building near the mailboxes — the problem is i never got my package — its an apartment building with 13 other units — we don't know one another — that's a shame within it self — but — i don't have my package — i am upset — the company i order from has debited my account for the merchandise — what do i do? I've paid for merchandise i don't have and ups is telling me to have the company track the package. The company is telling me to talk with ups. Where is the justice and how do i get my money back. I tried to ensure safe delivery of my packages by leaving a note at the front door with my telephone number and apartment number on it so that they (ups & mailman) can call me and i could come downstairs and get my packages. Ups said they don't allow their drivers to use cellphones on the job and the mailman said he can't use his cellphone either. What should i do to get my money back or my merchandise from the catalog company who has my money. As for the theif — he / she will get theirs one day.
