After being another laid-off american citizen, I thought I found a "Dream Job". The day after I ordered the CD a man from California called me. He was pushy and wanted me to come up with like $695.00 to invest in this company. I explained that I had not yet even received the CD explaining ANYTHING yet. And I understood that I was entitled to a 7 day FREE TRIAL.
I got the CD but never put in my player. I learned through my internet banking that Ebay Success Systems had charged my bank account the original $1.95 for shipping the CD. And two more charges for $12.95 and $39.95. I could not get my bank to stop the pending charges, because, the company used different names to hit my account. One being just "Online Service".
My bank investigated this with me. We all tried the 24 hr. Support/help center.
NEVER getting a person, Only horrible noise while we waited for an answer.
My bank is going to reverse these 2 Unauthorized charges, at a cost of $30.00 for each.
This is CRAZY!
Finally, Last week my bank investigator called me and said that she had reached a real person and, they agreed to LET ME reverse the charges IF I return the CD to them. They NEVER gave her an address to return it to! I have looked all over for an address, even sending them an email requesting a physical address.
These people are hurting people like myself, and, should be sued for their actions.
I have always considered myself to be alittle above average in the intelligence department, But, sure feel embarrassed and, ashamed that I was so quickly and, easily scammed.
