I was checking my bank account on line and noticed I had three charges from this company, Grant Search Assistant. One charge was for $29.95 and the other two were for $3.97 each. They did not have a phone number when I called my bank. I looked it up on the internet and found their phone number on RIP OFF REPORTS.
I read some of the other complaints and they sounded the same as the complaint I had. I immediately called the company and told them about these charges. I had never received any software from them which they said cost $3.97. I them told them I never seen anything about their company through e-mail or by mail. I demanded they reverse the charges back. ONe of the reps I first
talked to said they couldn't reverse anything back, and I was demanding they better do something or I was going to take further action. HE hung up on me. I was furious at this time, so I called back again and thankfully got another rep. I explained the situation to him and he said they would reverse the $29.95 but they could not reverse the $3.97 back. At this
point, I did not even know they charged me another $3.97 and were trying to debit my card again for $29.95 but it was declined. I told hime they are takinig money from my account without lettimg me no a thing. He kept telling me they could not reverse the $3.97 back. I them called the president or manager of this company on his phone, but got an answering machine. I then sent an e-mail to him demanding my money back.
His assistant called me back that same day and I explained everything to her. She said that they would reverse all three charges back into my account. I did check my account and they did reverse the $29.95 back, but I still am waiting for them to reverse the $3.97 back. People Beware of Companies! They get a hold of your bank information and they will fraudulently start
taking money out of your account. So check your accounts regularly, you may find charges you don't even know were debited from your account.
