Ez Combs - Telebrands advertize Ez Comb bronze and silver for $10 plus $6.99 shipping and handling. When you call the number to order it is an automated prompt which tries to sell you alot of other items. I decided to order a second set at $10 more according to the automated voice.
My credit card was charged $96.27 I expected a charge of $26.99 but the automated voice never tells you the total. That should have been my first warning sign that this was a scam.
When I received two small boxes I called for return authorization saying who would pay $96.27 for four combs? I returned everything unopened and sent back with tracking numbers-recommended by my credit card company.
I was charged the $26.99- plus two free videos charged $6.99 each for processing and handling, and charged $47.94 for EZ Comb Designer Collection. At no time does the prompt tell you these charges.
I ordered April 5th and received the boxes April 29th. I returned them the same day. As of today June 18th I am stilll trying to get a full refund. They did credit $51.90 back on May 5th.
I called two more times and was told all would be credited back. After three calls I then talked to a customer service supervisor who said they do not credit all of it back if you where unhappy with the product. She offered $23.82 credit and said any more credit would have to be done by the main office. I asked that the main office call me. They did not.
My credit card company will credit the rest and told me about usacomplaints.com
Ezcomb is also on the internet ezcombs.com. I will report to Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General.
