I went through the CR England Training School at Mira Loma between May/June from day one no-one was meant to fail especially the bookwork, quizzies and tests as the Instructors gave you all the answers, to me the theme was don't think just do, and that included all paperwork that had to be signed, don't read just sign, in fact one of the students asked the Instructor if he could read the finance document he was given and sign it later and was told in no uncertain terms, sign it now or go. I passed my test and was hired on as a trainee driver to do phase 1,30 days with a driver trainer @ $61 a day, and after more tests go on to phase 2,60 days with an OTR driver trainer @ 0.12c a mile when the wheels are turning, I was picked up by my driver trainer for phase 1, but after 4 days of being bounced about in the back of a truck I quit, as to me trying to sleep in a moving vehicle is dangerous, as I am no rookie to driving as I have 25 years hauling all over europe.
The rest of the scam came after I quit, I was being paid phase 1 pay, which was $61 a day and had 4 days to collect, but to my surprise I got nothing, I looked on line at my pay statement and found that it had been put towards the loan taken out for the training. Since I left I have not been contacted by anyone from CR England, the tuition loan was taken out with Eagle finance and to be repayed at $55 a week taken out of your wages whilst working for CR England, I knew that in the first week I would have taken from my pay $55 Loan, $35 Medical and $ 3 to cover legal fees, but to my surprise they took the whole 4 days wages little that it was, and trying to call them on the drivers service line I got nowhere, I never got to speak to anyone as the system is all automated. All you would be students just remember out of a class of 60 each Monday only about 10 make it with CR ENgland and by the way there is about 130,000 CDL drivers looking for work and most of them HAVE experience, so if you have a job no matter how bad you think it is don't give it up for CR England, for what you could end up with is more dept and no hope of a trucking job.
