I was going to cancel my monthly contract in March. I had a hard time going on past the 24 months after I signed, as the HD receiver was back ordered and I got it about 3 months later. When I went to cancel my contract, they said, "Oh no, your contract did not start on the date you signed it but on the date you got your back ordered equipment!" After a hassle, this was corrected. Then they said they would give me about $25 credit for the next three months to keep me.
I agreed, and then the billing problems started. The April bill showed the regular price. I called and was told that the credit would show up in May. Well, May came, and the end of May billing (which I looked at on the internet around June 6th) showed $61 owing. When I got the June 12 paper billing, it showed $81 owing, my regular amount.
I canceled my service and called them about the bill, and was told that there was nothing they (whoever "they" is) would do. I am awaiting the final bill and will go to small claims court over it, and they will have to pay the filing fees, etc.!
