Today I dicovered Portfolio Recovery and outfit I nevr heard of put and Levy on bank account. Leavining my family with absolutely no cash for daily expenses. My Bank TDbank told us they are not require to tell us when a Levy is issue on an account. The New Jersey Courst system is not require to tell us our assets are being seized. When my wife called, she spoke to a mr Fontaine, and he ask for the last 4 digits of my soc sec number, My wife gave him the numbers and he said I was not the target. He wanted her to Fax him my soc sec nymber and anything with my address on it, and my levy would be removed. When I called Mr. Fontaine, he refuse to talk to me and ask me to call my wife, that he had spend 10minutes with her, I asked him why my money was levied, and he did told me to talk to my wife again. At this I hanged up the phone. I called. And a Ms Spencer wanted to call me back, ask me for my Cell but never called. I guess now they got my Cell number as well. I checked my credit report, and there was a high credit debt of 5,000 dollars and my bank is levied for that amount. I have no clue of what going on, But I do know by internet search, this is some of scam debt collection agency. Yet my Credit report shows I owe nothing to no one.
When any company can go to court and have your money frozen and turned over in somebody you don't know. It just make you realized that it is better not o have a bank accouint in New Jersey. Your money is not safe, ever.
