Anastasia came off as being very professional at first but I should have seen the first sign when she asked for the money to be wire transferred right away! I was so excited about my event so I did and asked for a signed contract after the money was wired (I sent it within the hour) and she would never send it. I tried to contact her by phone and she would never ever return the call. It was a simple elopment not too much detail... But it is my wedding day and she really would not pay attention to my detail. Some of my family members wanted to attend so the flowers had to be increased so of course she asked for more money and of course I wired it again! Another bad sign... Why no credit card... Mmm. Anyway... She still would not really discuss the details of my flowers so I emailed them to her, I had many details to discuss with her and she would never answer the phone! She was always at an event or just too busy for my small event that was really coming up rapidly and I do live out of state. I was at one time thinking of letting her make the arrangements for the Weddding Celebratory Dinner for my family but thank goodness I made that arrangement. She wanted that cash within the hour as well. If only I can show you the place where she wanted us to dine: (She then told me to get her the wire transfer asap for the dinner because we had to hold the restaurant! I looked at the web site and I was in shock for the money that she was going to charge us and then she lied and told us that the place had been completely renovated and that it was an old web site. Let me tell you my friend... I drove to the restaurant and it was the same old restaurant that is was on the web site! How was she going to talk herself out of that one! I do bwlieve she was going to take the money.
Let me get on with the story.in the end the officiate showed up with flowers (dreary looking) for me and my daughter when we paid extra for large bouquets. There were NO FLOWERS FOR MY BRIDESMAIDS! Nor my son the bestman! We sent her the monehy for all of that and she chose to keep the money... No excuse... She never showed up... She just sent the flowers with the minister... I paid for chairs they were DIRTY! How embarrasing! Imagine no flowers for your family! No flowers for my table at my venue! Thanks goodness I had my event at 700 Drayton and it had nothing to do with her... I made my own arrangements... Wedding Planner... She did nothing and took our money...
The only good thing that happend out of this woman was the officiate!
Jack Boylson and that is because he is a kind man... She ignored me for 10 days before the wedding and made me a nervous wreck... This is cruel and unkind to do to any human... Especially a bride on her day... She kept saying it is only an elopement...
I called her and called her she would never return my call.
I am writing this so that she does not hurt anymore people. I did some research on her and it seems to be she has a history of hurting many people. SO BEWARE! She has been backed by the KNOT! I should have done my homework and checked with the BBB BEFORE I dealt with this Ananstasia Stevenson... I just do not know how she sleeps at night!
How can she just steal money from people...
