Rip Off an Poor Customer Service

My vehicle was towed there after a recent accident on 5/21/09 right before closing. I went to Service King the next day (Friday) to give all of my insurance information. I was approached by Mr. Shade Stringer, Service Advisor.

I told him that I wanted an estimate on the damages. I stated that they would get right on it that Friday, and he would call me and give me the status. I never heard from anyone at Service King. I constantly called everyday for two weeks to find out what was going on with my vehicle.

I was told the same thing every time, "we will get right on it." My vehicle sat on the lot for two and a hlf weeks before they even took a look at it. Mr. Stringer stated to me when I called on the Friday of the Second week, and he said that he would look at it first thing that Saturday morning and call me back. I never heard from them.

I called them on Monday morning, and the receptionist stated that Mr. Stringer no longer works there. She then promised me that they were going to look at it that day and she would call me that afternoon. Noone called me for a week. Now, here is the rip off. My car sat on the lot of the facility for two and a half weeks without noone even looking at it, and I was being charged for storage.

I was not informed by Mr. Stringer, nor anyone else of this. Then, they finally called me and gave me an outrageous estimate, which included extra things they were going to do to my vehicle that did not pertain to what it was brought in for. They included a paint job on the entire vehicle. They marked all over my vehicle.

When I went to pick up my vehicle, I couldn't move it until I paid the storage fee that they charged me. I called to speak to the manager, who was not curteous on the phone with me, and his exact words were, "there is a sign on the door stating that storage fees of 40.00 per day plus tax." I had to pay 853.00 out of my pocket before I could move my car.

I took pictures of the front door and window, and there is no sign or sticker stating that at all. I told him that I should not have to pay, because I was never told this, neither was there any work ever done to my vehicle. He refused.

I received poor customer service from Service King Richardson. I told the manager that I will never do business with them, neither will I ever refer anyone to them.
