I'am filling this complaint against (my choice medical) some people may know it by (dr say yes). I received an email from My Choice Medical, or 'Drs Say Yes', advertising Plastic Surgery at an affordable price, mainly for people with poor credit. The ad noted you could get surgery for a mere $99. Down with low monthly pmts, Since i have been thinking to get a rhinoplasty. For my wedding schedule to be April 10, i was in very much in a hurry to do so.
So i gave them a call to apply i want to say it was mid Nov. 2008. With in minutes they gave me a call back, because of my credit i got financed 53%. I was ask to give a $200 down to schedule an appointment With Dr. Eismann to see him for a consultation. I was told that if i was to resume with the procedure to make sure to have $1,500 to put down to hold my surgery date with him.
If i didn't want to go on (if i didnt like him) i would be refunded my $150 back that i had put down in the first time and they would only keep $50 for the consultation and i agreed. So i was schedule to see Dr. Eismann on Jan. 6 at 9:30 am. So when the day came i was greeted by a representative from My choice Medical. Her name was Laurie. She just when over how they work pretty much what they say when you first apply. Things i had heard or know already.
Later i was soon seen by Dr. Eisemann and pretty much i was very much glad and impress by his knowledge. I felt good and confident about him. When our consultation was over i was again back talking to Laurie (my choice medical representative). She ask how it went i said to her i really like him and i want to continued on with the surgery. Then we when over the payment plans because of my 53% finance my payments will come out to $249 a month for 24 months.
Then i was ask if i want to do and incentive it will save me $2,000 and something out of my cost but, agreeing to this i would have to pay the remaining full balance which its @ $6,000 two weeks prior to my surgery date. Then i said to her IF i do agree to this if for any reason getting closer to my surgery date and i see or know that i won"t be able to have the remaining balance could i give them (my choice medical) a call in advance and switch it to to my finance plan which would be $249 a month for 24 months and she said YES.
So their fore i agree. I ALSO ask her if for any reason i decide to cancel i would be fully refunded back which it should be $1,950. Because, they already had my $200 and i had just given her $1,500 to resume and hold my surgery DATE. So at this time my choice medical has a total of my money of $2,000. After everything i went on and it was ok at this time.
I was soon schedule to have surgery with Dr. Eisemann for a rhinoplasty on June. 17@ 8:30 am. As time went by and i had more time to really think about i had a change of mind i DECIDED NOT TO GET THE SURGERY DONE. It was April. 2. That i had gave MY CHOICE MEDICAL A CALL and DISCOVERED that they where NO LONGER IN Bussiness as effective of MARCH. 30. I FREAK OUT and called my doctor office to see if they had any idea or answers since they where doing business with them.
I was told they where no longer in business with them and that they had to called me in advance before they went out bussiness to let me know. But, they never did. I explain to Dr. Eisemann staff what i had originally in mind in doing so and i was ask to try to get a hold of them thru their WEBSITE (www.mychoicemedical.com) and i very much did so and i have wrote to them numerous of times and NOT I HAVE NOT YET HEARD FROM ANYONE! But yet their website says THEY WILL RETURN YOUR CALL WITHIN 48 HRS. All i want is my money back since i didn't get anything from them. IF I do not here from them i will let legal matters take it's place.
