We were contacted by a guy named Ben Narter by phone who claimed he could help us out with our mortgage by modifying it. We heard him out, paid him over $1000 dollars and then he never called us back.
We drove past his office which is actually a residential condo building in the city and have since then been frustarted. We are defentitely not the only people who he has ripped off because i spoke to someone else over craigslist that said the same thing happened to her by the same guy!
We need help getting our money back and want to put a stop to this guy. We have contacted the attorney general but want to know what else we can do to speed up the process and try and get our money returned. He never even bothered contacting the bank. Just cashed our check and doesnt pick up his phone. His number is 312 265 0440. Sometimes he picks up and doesnt speak and dials a number. I know hes still doing this to people.
