I was so glad to find this website!!! My story is a little late now but I do want to warn people and I completely believe what I have read from you other guys about this dealership!
In 2005 I purchased a previously owned 2004 350Z (top of the line) with all the bells and whistles... The story I was told is that a "rich" customer had special ordered this car with all the upgrades. He had owned it about 10 months (the best I can remember) and got transfered to California and it was going to cost him more to ship the car there than it cost, (but he's rich) anyway...
As the story was told I bought it hook line and sinker. She was a bute!!! I pulled up into my driveway with my sportscar only for everyone to tell me that the bottom area of the car didn't quite match the rest of the car. (It was white) I had to agree it looked a little off.
Long story short... After inquiring about this with the sales manager, service manager, anyone who could talk to me, I was assured it was an illusion. Now a year later my clear coat was coming off in the same area. No problem they could paint that little area. Suspicious??? Now my clutch is going... $2,000 they want and the extended warranty doesn't cover it, and I have driven a stick all my life... The clutch felt the same as the day I bought it. Hummmm???
Went to trade the car and found out that it had been wrecked. Rear was damaged. Took my car fax back to the dealership and they looked like a deer in headlights!!! How could this be? We (they) have a clean history in my file. And they DID buy the car back from the guy who ordered it! Car Fax showed that too.
This is just what I think... They had the car in for service or something, someone from the dealership drove it and wrecked it, they had to buy it back but they didn't have to tell the next person what happened. How many dealerships have you ever heard of buying a new car back in 10 months?
I tried everything I knew to get them to do what I thought was the right thing and take this damaged vehicle, (worth about $5,000 less than I paid because of damage) back and give me a undamaged car! Or give me the $5,000
I eventually traded the car, took a beating, and life goes on. I wish I had known about all of your stories so I would have had some "extra stones" to throw at them. They just acted like I was this little blonde southern belle and I had to be dumb and they didn't have to do anything.
Thanks for listening. It's been a couple of years now since all of this. If not this pc would probably be blazinZing!!! I wouldn't buy a dog house for my dog from them... Old phrase... Let the buyer beware!!!
