Purchased a g1 for christmas gift and phone couldn't be activated until 1/2/09
Called on 1/2/09 and was told it could take 24 hours. Called on 1/3/09 and was given many reasons why phone wouldn't activate and after 2 hours on phone decided to return it and have 2 years taken off contract. Kim the manager told us grace period expired and we have no recourse but to keep phone and and contract and she hung up on me.
Why does grace period apply if we couldn't activate phone thaks
