Do not do it! I%u2019ll admit, I signed a contract, I felt pressured and I don%u2019t make good choices with high-pressured sales tactics in play. But I was given the run-around when I tried to cancel within my grace period. Once she finally agreed to see me to get my cancellation in writing, it was beyond my grace period and she gave me a blank piece of paper to write a statement on and sign. She assured me she would file the cancellation and it would be ok.
However, here it is a month later and the first payment was taken out of my bank account... Contract not canceled.
I'm concerned with this deliberate attempt to give me the run around until after the grace period is over - then have me cancel with any representative and a blank sheet of paper. I could have done that the first day I tried to cancel but they insisted I needed to fill out their paperwork with the representative who signed me up. This reeks of a scam. I'm embarrassed I fell for it, but want to warn others so they don't make the same mistake.
