Ok, like many people out there, we signed up with SMC. But we never planned to use their lame marketing plan, we just wanted to use them as a wholesaler and drop shipper. And like many people, we also decided that is was far more time effective to pay the money for the website through Emerchant Club.
We've got are plan off the ground and this morning I went onto the site to reset some of the products on the front page. I figured I would go to the corporate website and browse the products there. Guess what? Their corporate website is down! It just returns a "page cannot be found" message. What's more, the customer support website is down, same result.
Now, I'm not defending them or disputing the issues that anyone else has had with them. Frankly, I never believed their hype, and had to put their coaches in their place a couple of times. Their marketing plan was horrible, and anyone who thought it wasn't really doesn't have any idea of what they are doing, which I guess is what they counted on. All I ever wanted was access to the products and their distribution center. But it appears that even that is beyond their ability to maintain.
Does anyone have any info as to whether or not there has been some action that would make them pull the site? The coporate site is gone, but the "Sign up for SMC" sites are still running full tilt.
