The program seemed pretty strait forward because my credit is not so hot and I have a great job and I wanted the American Dream so I went on line and found Yorkstreet Properties. $500.00 down $150.00 application fee great your pay with them was your credit great and after 5 months your home goes in your name.
I had been looking at this particular home for 1 yr. I would see the same home on the site and I inquired it was expensive so I continued the search found a home we liked. The program is you pay rent until the sixth month and then they try to finance you at a 100%.
It also says they will fix all major repairs while you are renting. The address at 724 Highcrest Dr is a nice home on the outside. BUT, the problems on the inside was craaszy to say the least. The electricity would cut off at its leisure the electrician would come if he got paid that month by Yorkstreet. They didn't have money to do the repairs they say they will fix while you are renting for the 5 months.

The same with plumbing and speaking of plumbing the house has a leak under the cement and I see that same house is back on the market to be sold. The cost of the repair is right at $3000.00 if not more the cement has to broken up and the leak has to be found in the mean time the meter is continously running while we lived there we had to keep going out to turn the meter off when we wasn't using the water and of course and $1100.00 water bill at Dallas water company should have told us that Yorkstreet Properties did not take care of their business.

Yorkstreet could not pay the final water bill at 724 Highcrest which was 1100.00 dollars I paid 954.00 and they paid the rest because they could not find a credit card that they could use to cover this amount. It states in their paperwork all utiliites need to be in your name 7 days prior to your move in date. We couldn't do this because they could not pay the bill so we did and used it for our first month rent. That was our first red flag. They also state they check the home for all major systems to be in working order. The house didn't have hot water due to that major leak under the house the hot water valve was disconnected I had a plumber of my choice to do an estimate for me and it was "run forrest run"The next thing when you go to 100 cresent court dallas tx 75232 to take care business only the receptionist will be able to communicate with you in the 4 months I dealth with these people I have yet to see the realtor, the finance, the maint or anyone else for that matter. They will talk to you via email and by telephone if you get thru but not face to face.

The house is appraised so they said for 93k when you research the home it is worth 66K and when I inquired about the home and ask to speak to MR. Puigh or anyone about the matter the emails stopped. I wanted to know how can they ask for 30k above what the house is worth come on.
