Last October as I transitioned from my old house to a new one I was building, I leased an apartment at this place. I first signed for 4 months but due to delay in the construction I had to stay longer. When I approach them about going month to month these the manager doubled my rent saying that it was a computer that establishes those rates and she did not have anything to do with it.
I was forced to signed a 2 months lease even though I only needed to stay one more, that was cheaper than the first option but still higher than normal rent.
I moved out 3 weeks before my lease expired and left the apartment very clean with the exception of the refrigerator. Almost 2 months later I got a bill for $353.91 which states that they were keeping my deposit and also they were charging me for cleaning up the carpet, the refrigerator and painting the walls. They also charged me a full month of water even though I was just there 3 days in the last month.
When I contacted the manager she told me she is doing the same to anyybody who lives there for less than a year. I belive this to be a rip off, especially with the economy the way it is.
