I was lucky enough to see right through this pyramid scheme

After reading the other report on here I thought I would add my own experience.

Mine was similar to the other experiences I read for this company and the other affiliate company. Easy to get interview, 7 hour long field shadowing where I watched them get rejected for sales again and again, then tell me about how many sales they "usually" make. A wierd questionaire. I could see something was wrong the second I walked in the door, it looked like a fly by night operation.

Apparently Wrinaldo has been more successful than I expected in duping people. I told him to his face in the interview that it seemed like a pyramid scheme, you give a big chunk of what you make to the person above you, you work on commission only, you have to get 5 new members to advance to management etc.

The fact that there were apparantly parties and such happening everyday signaled to me that they must've been desperate to retain employees and indoctrinate them with a new "lifestyle". Everyone there drove a crappy car so they obviously weren't making money, yet had so much promised to them that they stayed to recruit.

Like has been said before, Wrinaldo seems pretty nice, and intelligent. Which is why I felt insulted when he sat there and told me that this wasn't a scheme.

The layer of crap in this cake was really about the sales themselves. They were selling AT&T U-verse, a product which I am extremely familiar with, as I worked for AT&T on the actual lines in bringing the product to market. It was also a product which I have in my own home. And on my SEVEN hour long "interview", I watched them lie to people and make false promises about the service they would be getting, how it works, not being upfront about the 8 hour long installation, even the pricing. People were being sold (unsuccessfully) products that they could get at the same price or even cheaper online (with cash back incentives and such)

I now understand why the trainer bought me a Taco Bell lunch, he was probably paying for it out of pocket. I cant believe I spent a day watching 2 COLLEGE GRADS go door-to-door and making basically no money.

The question I asked that stood out is, "Why are you spending time and (hypothetically) money to train all these people, yet you tell me your goal is to have them start their own businesses? No other businesses train people to become competition to themselves and give away talent." He responded something to the effect of "Well the goal is to succeed"etc... And after a bit more pressing he eluded to the fact that those businesses would still be giving him some sort of cut, because he would provide them with sales leads.

From what I've read, The Brenar Group and Cydor are affiliates or parent compaines or whatever you wanna call the bricks above McKennedy Marketing, the people who Wrinaldo pay. From what I've read its the same exact MO as I experienced.

I am posting this because a friend of mine invited me to their facebook group, and hopefully I can convince that person to stop wasting their time making someone else money.
