I submitted loan application and Joe Haglund, loan officer from FNE told me that the loan was approved and asked for $900 for the appraisal. After the appraisal (which was higher than initially estimated value) he told me that the loan can not be approved on the initial terms and it will take additional $40K to get the amount and % approved. He refuses to issue a refund for $900. FNE itself is not responsive.
