I was approached by two teenage/college-aged girls who asked me to buy a magazine subscription. They said it was so they could go on a trip. It was "based on a point system" and they got so many points for the number of magazines you subscribed to and how long you subscribed for. There were two of them, so I purchased one from each of them. They were each about $70 for two year subscriptions. I thought it was a little pricy, but they were very convincing and apparently experienced. My checks were deposited 6 days later, and 3 months later, still no magazines. My husband was laid off THE DAY AFTER I bought those subscriptions, and to be ripped off at this point is absolutely asinine. I hope we can catch these thieves!!!
