I got a call from Calvin to my business asking for computer help. My business partner and I met with this gentleman several times regarding a network he wanted to have done for his business. On our initial visit, we did some software extraction from a network for him. We went to lunch afterwards and he made a verbal authorization for us to order him a $600 network.
A few days later, Calvin called us and changed his mind. He wanted to save money and to try and convert an exsisting computer he had into a network. So he canceled the network costing us a 15% restocking fee. We then ordered him a copy of windows 2003 server.
Later, he called an canceled his order for windows 2003 server, causing us another 15% restocking fee from our vendor. After visiting their residence and seeing exactly what Calvin wanted to do, we declined on doing the job. Calvin asked for all of his money back and since we were paid $170 for the software, we got a refund from our vendor minus the restocking fee and kept the balance for our labor.
They have called our merchant to file a chargeback. This is a deadbeat company who will screw you over.
