Hi I found out this morning that a site called finacial crisis grants had me listed as a member even though I had never heard of them before this morning. They also had charged my debit card 79.95 as a monthly fee even though I had never okayed such a transaction. I only discoverd this when google treasure signed me up to grantsprings after I signed with google last night.
When I contacted grantsprings they told me that I owed them 79.95 even though I had, nt even completed a signup form with them. Further investigation showed that I did, nt owe them but that charge came from a site called finacialcrisis grants. When I found a phone number for this site through usacomplaints.com site and called them, they claimed that I had verbally signed on and agreed to there site terms in febuary which is a bold faced lie since I do all my business on the web and not my phone.
At that point I ask to speak to a supervisor or someone that could help me settle this matter, they then told me that no supervisors where available and in order to try and get my money back that I had to write a letter to corperate headquarters. I ask if there was a supervisor again or a e-mail address to send my complaint to I was told that the only way to contact someone who could help was to write a physical letter and send it to corperate headquarters. For the third time I ask to speak to some one in authority or I was going to report them to the FBI internet fraud unit at this point the person onthe other end got abusive and told me that nothing could be done except to cancel my membership and write the letter to there main office and hope that I might get my money back. So the long and short of it is watch who you sign up with since you never who they might share your information with.
