Cindy James, CindyCindy James, [email protected] Jackie Yung Or Jackie Young Extreme-power-computers-inc. [email protected] aka Jackie Yung WAH Clerical Job scammed me out of $390 for software that I never received!

Hello,
My name is Veronica and I was scammed out of $390.00 by a person that identified them self as Mrs. Cindy James.
Earlier I had gone to thejobplanet.com and sent in applications for what looked like legitimate work at home jobs. I was hoping to earn some extra income for my family and since I don't drive, a work at home job would have been ideal.

An hour or so later I received and email from Cindy James or [email protected].
She claimed that she was the hiring manager for a company by the name of extreme-power-computers-inc and that she would like to set up a meeting with me on yahoo messenger. I should set up a yahoo messenger account if I didn't already have one. I immediately signed up for one and emailed her back with my information.

The next morning I noticed that I'd received yet another email from Cindy James stating that I should be online by no later than 9 am for my interview. I didn't get up until 10 am, but I quickly signed on. Hoping that my tardiness would not cost me the job.

She quickly pulled me in and gave me this great sales pitch about how I would be doing clerical work.
My duties would include; Preparation of Balance sheets (Mini), account balancing, invoicing recording, proper data analysis of sales records and recording pay slips into accountingdatabase all these will be done through the use of the Accounting Software.
I would earn $23-$25 an hour.
I would work from 9am -2pm and receive my daily assignments through email at yahoo and she would be there to assist me if I had any trouble what so ever.
All of this sounded wonderful.
Then she told me that I would need some software in order to get started. The software would cost me $270.00, but that the company would reimburse me later.

I was hesitant at first, but I finally relented and told her that I would send the money. I was to send it too a person by the name of Jackie Young or Yung in Salem Oregon 97403. This was the software agent at the company that they get their software from.
I sent the money right away and the lady at the Western Union office asked me if I was certain that this wasn't a scam. I waved away her concern and told her that I had checked it out thoroughly.
Only I hadn't.

You see Cindy James sent me a link to extreme power computers inc and it looked legit.
How should I think that it wasn't.
Well it turns out that THE COMPANY IS LEGIT and that they now have a warning about the scam on their site.
I sent them an email containing some information about the scam that had been run on me.
THEY ARE IN NO WAY INVOLVED WITH THE SCAM!!!
If only they had had this warning up a few days earlier
The software or softwares as Cindy kept calling it didn't arrive at 11 am the next day as promised and when Cindy got on yahoo messenger.
I questioned her about this.
She said that the courier that they wanted to use couldn't deliver the software and it would cost me another $120.00 to get it here.

I was starting to get suspicious.
I questioned why couldn't she send it Fed Ex or over night it or something. That is what she wanted to do, but the courier needed the money before he could do it.
I asked repeatedly if this was a scam.
I wanted a phone number or something that I could have that would show and prove too me that this was legit.
She gave me this number 7755402443 and I called it.
It was a message center and I left my number.
She again promised me that I would be reimbursed for the money.
Finally I relented and I sent her more money.
I again never received the software and when I asked Cindy about it. I was told to hold on or to wait.
It would be there. Guess what the software never did show up. I googled the phone number later and it was used in another scam. I didn't show my hand just yet.
I wanted to get some more info from Cindy James.

I had her recite to me again what my supposed duties would be and such. I also asked her for another phone number. She gave me two of them 1238076155252 and 23480761552. The first one was wrong she said.
I was to call the second one and ask to speak to Gary.
The number was entirely too long and I was unable to get through to him. I told Cindy this and she went all angry Caps Lock on me. I repeatedly asked for my money back and was assured that I would get it.

Yesterday she said that she would send me my money as she needed to hit the bank. Yeah most likely her local Western Union to pick up some other person's hard earned money and then deposit it into her own. When she came back online I asked her about my money and could I have the MTCN number so that I could track my money through Western Union. I was told that I had to wait.
I told her that she didn't have to wait that if she'd send the money as she said she had that she would have the MTCN number. I tried making her or them feel guilty and to send my money back too me, but it didn't work.
Clearly these people like this have no hearts or they couldn't scam people out of money like this!

One thing that I did notice about Cindy James or whom ever this person really is after re reading the im's.
She is either a very bad typist, has bad grammar, or she has broken English.

I am more inclined to believe that it is broken English.
This person also says ok and hold on a lot and she often adds and s to the end of her words.
Especially when she can't think of anything else to say.
Here is the description of the picture that Cindy James used on her yahoo account.
She looks like a sweet grandmotherly type, very trust worthy.
But that is the point.
She is heavy set.
Has short curly, dark blond or light brown hair.
Gold wire rimmed glasses.
She is wearing a blue button front shirt and pink or peach lipstick.
I want to give out as much information on this person as possible.
I am sure that he/she/they have many aliases.
I have already reported Cindy James to the Internet Crime Complaint Center or IC3.

I plan to report her every where that I possibly can in hopes of saving someone else from being scammed like I was.

Please do not give out money to someone that you don't know for a work at home job opportunity.
It simply isn't worth it!
