Yesterday I used Craigslist to apply to like 20 receptionist jobs. This morning I woke up to an email saying I should make a yahoo screen name and get on yahoo instant messenger for an online interview. The username was christy warren 75 which I am sure will be shut down soon. I answered real like interview questions and was told they would be sending me a check in order to buy the time keeping software and peach tree software and something else. I knew it was a scam, I just wasn't sure how. They told me I was hired and would be making 19 an hour, that they are an Indian based company but are in the united states as well. Www.healthcarewebstore.com is the address they gave me when I requested one. They used a real company in order to look legit. After digging around on the Internet, I found that they send a travelers check, fraud or something, expect me to cash it at my bank, and tell me they overpaid me and tell me to wire they money back or send some money back. I have read some cases where they try to get you to send them money for the software and they will reimburse you. The screen name had a picture of a white lady, but yet whoever was writing me was not speaking proper English and had no personality. Cme to find out, another rip off report on here discovers its really someone in Nigeria. Wow.
