I have to say that I should have done further research on this individual before making my decision. Like many other people out here. I let my debt get out of hand, my wages were being garnished, and I couldn't survive on that income. So, I opted to file for bankruptcy. At first, everything was fine. They communicate with you, etc. But once you pay them one penny, you'll never get to hear from them again.
Trust me when I say, Buyer Beware of this company. Your only consultation with Danny Coleman will be your initial consulation. Even at my bankruptcy hearing, he was not there. Period. Some other attorney that the court provided stood in for him. I am out over $2k already and they are asking for more. Guess what, if you leave a voicemail, they charge for that. Even if no one listens to it. Thats if you call and it actually lets your phone through. If one of the interns asks a paralegal a question or even transfers your call to another person, you get charged for it. If they open your email, you get charged for it. They charge you for giving them copies of stuff you already have. DO NOT BELIEVE HIM WHEN HE SAYS YOUR FEES ARE SET! Once you file with their office, they have you by your ba*s, and they are going to demand more money from you. My bill is currently going up and I haven't had anyone return any of my phone calls in the last month. If you question your bill, the first thing they'll say is if you no longer want them to work on your case. Meaning, in the middle of something as sensitive as a bankruptcy, they will threaten to drop your case. Its bad when I have to hire another lawyer to take on this one. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OFFICE.
This firm is unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and overall unethical. He should be removed from the Georgia Bar Association and not allowed to practice law in any state whatsoever. I am not a disgruntled employee, I'm just someone who has been trapped by this company into handing over a large amount of money for me at a time when I need it most. I mean... They charge you for sending an email to staff to return a call which never happens. Thats just ridiculous. All their charges are erroneous and are absolutely ridiculous. Take it from someone who has dealt with them. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE FOR ANYTHING.
I don't know what kind of rebuttal they'll do. But I bet it'll be a good one. He is an accountant/lawyer, so I can't wait to see it. If only I would've found out about his company before I signed up. Now I'm bankrupt both from medical bills, credit debt, and now this firm. PLEASE, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
I'm filing reports with the BBB, RICO, GA Bar, and any other association to get this person out of the business and to keep him from harming more people.By the way, the GA bankruptcy court will side with them if you refuse to pay over the initial amount. They will have you by the balls once your first payment is received. Oh, by the way. That costs $30 too. Yeah it costs money to pay them.
