Bad phone, bad customer service - Tracfone

I would like to caution anyone about getting a trachoma. Their phones are not good phones. I bought a new phone and right when I was talking on it, it went dead. I had only had it for a month. After getting transferred around and spending hours on the phone they said it was a defective phone and they would replace it. I received a reconditioned phone. I said I bought a new phone, and wanted it replaced with a new phone. They said they only replaced it with a reconditioned phone. Needless to say, it has been three weeks and I still cannot get the recombined phone to work. I have spent at least 8 hours, on different days with these people. They transfer me around and I have to start all over with the next person. They now claim, this is a defective phone. However, coincidently each time we are going to get to the next phone that their shipping, I get disconnected and have to start all over again with the next person. I still do not have a working phone. Do not go with this company. They are very expensive for their prepaid cards, their phones are used and do not work, and the service is horrible. Not to mention that customer service is horrible. Most of them have heavy accents and they are difficult to understand. I am writing this to keep others from going through what I am going through. Most other companies now have prepaid programs. Please go with one of them. Nowhere in their warranty does it state that they will only replace phones with reconditioned phones.
