What happens to one person may not necessarily happen to another. So if Laura sold a sick puppy to someone, it is their right to let their voice be heard, and if Laura sold fabulous puppies to others, then that was just their good luck. I was not as lucky, I was sold a sick puppy by Laura as well and she died and I am beyond heartbroken. Laura is now selling pups in FL. I purchased a puppy from her in Dec I took the pup to the vet within 48 hours and my vet advised she had an enormous amount of parasites. I treated the pup which in the process of a week became extremely ill. I had to put her on fluids and Laura assisted me with the vet bills for the medication, because I could just not part with the puppy. The puppy then received her first shot, and again became very ill and I contacted Laura because I simply could not keep paying for these extra expenses which the puppy kept getting sick. She agreed to take the puppy back but when I tried to meet with her, she ignored my phone calls and did not reply to my emails. I tried everything to save the puppy, even gave her a blood transfusion, and she still died.
Once I told Laura that the puppy had passed she indicated that she would have a new litter and she would replace the pup, that was on January 15th. Since then we had gone back and forth through emails. The last I heard from her was on February 17th, it has now been over a month and she does not respond to my emails. When I first purchased the pup, she had originally told me she would give me my money back but I just could not give the pup up as I had already fallen in love with her, I now wish I did as I have spent so much money and anguish over this whole situation.
My vet confirms the puppy was a very weak and sick puppy, the vet wanted me to pay for a bone marrow but I just couldn't spend any more money on the dog. I've tried contacting her one email after another since she never answers my calls, I just want a refund or a replacement pup, but now I'm afraid of having anymore issues with her, if she ever does respond.
