I bought a chihuahua puppy from Laura Strecky aka ShaLa Chihuahuas. The pup died within five days of her arrival. I had my vet do a necropsy and the result is parvovirus.
I ask Laura Strecky to replace my pup that died, and she stated that I had only 72 hours of time of purchase to take her to the vet or my guarantee would be void. I never signed any agreement to that effect. The Pennsylvania puppy lemon law states that we have ten days to have her vet checked, but she died at our vet's office on the fifth day.
She was not answering my e-mails so I put an ad up warning people about this breeder. She contacted me and agreed to replace the pup so I took down my ads.
A few weeks went by and she wouldn't answer my e-mails again. So, I put up another ad. She then agreed to replace my pup. And once again, after the ad was taken off, she refused to do anything. I saw on her site that she had several pups available at that time. She had a litter advertised as AKC, but when I inquired about them, she changed the ad to CKC.
Then I get an e-mail from a chihuahua club stating that they heard from Laura Strecky that I lied to get this pup and they didn't believe that the pup actually died. Even though my vet spoke to Laura and I have pictures and the necropsy report to prove everything.
