I was contacted by a recruiter who told me he liked my resume and I was invited with an interview with a manager. I went to the interview but it turned out that it was a presentation to several people who were invited like me.
Before the presentation began, we had to fill personal information on a sheet, including social security information. The presentation was long, and we were told how great the company is and how easily we can make good money.
After the end of the presentation we were asked to leave if we don't want a personal interview. I didn't leave (foolishly). Then, everyone from the presentation had a personal interview with the manager. Then I got to learn that licenses and courses have to be paid by me (total of 180). Then I was asked to sign an e-pad for background check, 1099 information and something else. Stupidly enough, I signed three times on the pad, without seeing the screen.
After I got home, I checked the company on Google and I found out all the other complains.
I am really worried now, especially for what I signed. Any advises? I am ready to speak with the police if something happens to my credit file.
