This is essentially my experience while working for this company from June of 1994 through May of 1997 and the price I paid for doing the "right thing".
I went out on a date with a co-worker (Deanna Baker) whom I'd known socially. I asked her out a few times immediately afterward. She never said yes, she never said no, so I quit asking.
About 8 months later, I'd mentioned it toanother Woman (Robin Taylor). This one invited me out with her and her husband that night and wanted to discuss my relationship with Deanna. I refused.
Two days later, the company judged me guilty of "repeatedly trying to interest (Deanna) in a romantic relationship despite her discouraging it."
In order to remain working there, I had toadhere to three "conditions" of my employment. One, do not speak to her (Deanna) about anything other than company business. Two, Do not speak to any other employee about this matter. Three, see a company appointed psychologist at no cost to me.
I obviously refused number Three.
I never officially knew who made the accusations. But a third woman Frances Pendley) eventually told me (Robin) came in to work the day after I went out with her, and her husband saying that I said something the night before that indicated I had some intent of harming Deanna. (I did not.)
Other accusations were that I was stalking her, including following her, calling, and sending emails. None of these are true.
Eighteen months later, they removed the "harassment complaint" from my file. Then had me sign a document agreeing that if I get into another "confrontation" with Deanna, they could fire me. (Apparently, this was another complaint from Robin)
Later, Deanna was told to try to get me into a "confrontation." She tried, I reported it to HR, they fired me.
After I left that company, I could not get any employment in my field, lasted in that city for about three years, and had to move to a state that I grew up in with one of my parents. I'm 55 years old now.
During the time I'd been employed where I live now, at every employer, these individuals stalk me and try to either intimidate me, try to get me fired, or at the minimum end up getting co-workers in trouble. I actually got the Washington DC EEOC headquarters involved, and The US Dept of Justice as well. One guy from the FBI literally came to visit an employer 6 years ago to inform that employer all of the accusations proved to be false.
At my last job, again there was an attempt to discredit me even after I was told by the FBI that it was being taken care of.
Now this is 2009. We're talking 11plus years! Of stalking, harassment, and repeated attempts to "prove" I'm some kind of harasser. Fact is, all of the attempts failed because the "fabrications" were proved to be just that.
What really happened here is that every thing I'd been accused of doing to someone, has in fact been done to me. That's an old psychological trick first used by an old FBI program called COINTELPRO to neutralize political dissodents.interesting a Public Corporation would stoop to those tatcics.
I'm adding an interesting definition here I found during some research on the subject:
Corporate stalking
The term Corporate Stalking refers to a particularly severe form of Gang-Stalking, where a corporation actually provides funding toward the harassment and abuse of a targeted individual, usually someone who is a "whistle-blower", a perceived "problem employee", or else an employee who has witnessed illegal activity occurring within the corporation. The most sinister, and downright evil, tactic used during Corporate Stalking is forcing the victim to see the company psychologist.in most cases, the company psychologist is made aware that the victim is a "dissident" and a threat that needs to be eliminated. A false diagnosis of "general psychosis", "schizophrenia", or other mental illness is made, as well as a recommendation of institutionalization.
Think I'm making this up? Have a chat with Frances and Deanna, and a bunch others who have witnessed this.
I'm hoping some Major News Media Network would pick this up as this is what I call "Terrorism by Americans against Americans". Why? Because some of us have the moxie to say "Hey, you can't do this".
Why would Rockwell be doing this? Well typically Defamation lawsuits are costly, that's why.
Comee on America, make this story Public. There are a lot of people who would benefit, primarily the next potential victims.
