I was contracted with Deanna Rubio & Horsein' Around Inc. Back in 11/07. When i first started working for her, it was good, I loved traveling and loved my job, All up until about 8 months ago. Deanna continually told me that her PAYPAL account was closed for 180 days due to people wanting their money back, so they put a hold on her account. Deanna at this point owed me close to about $9,800, and said I would have to wait 180 Days till her account was open until she could pay me, or Just pay me little by little and continue working for her and her not take out her 20% cut. Well me being stupid i continued to work for her. As time went on I would pick up Horses being told by deanna that I would have FULL payment on DELIVERY, well when i would got to deliver the horses there was NO PAYMENT... Everyone would show me proof and tell me they had already paid Deanna via Money order, credit card, PAYPAL, etc. So at this point I am out several thousands of dollars in fuel and wear and tear on equipment and money for caring for these horses week after week. There were several times were I would come to Houston to do my layover which is suppose to only be 48 hrs. And may have up to 8 horses along with me and would never hear from Deanna.
Which left me stuck in TX. For over 2 weeks or more, "this happened several times" and I felt like I was stuck in the middle because I was not going to leave without Deanna paying me for THAT RUN... Because I was tired of throwing my money out and working over 100 hrs a week and not seeing any return for it... And in return I would Have to take the heat for her and HER CLIENTS. Because they were mad at me...
Deanna is FULL OF LIES. She would tell me a different story everyday! From everything like she was trying everything she could to get me money, she was working in the tobacco fields, or that she was trying to go to her church to see if they could give her money. I mean come on how crazy is that..?
At this point the last run I did for her I had two horses here in Tx that were picked up in Michigan. Those horses stayed at a quarantine facility for over 2 weeks. They were to be delivered to california to a TOM BAIR and VIKKI WILLIAMSON. I did not hear from deanna one time the whole 2 weeks they were here.! I talked to her when I got to TX once and told her I could not continue to California w/o payment.
So I found them a ride to California, I met up with Vikkis friend up in FT. Worth which is over 4 hrs away. And at this point the horses were in excellent shape, always well took care of by melissa the owner of the quarantine facility, who worked everyday to make sure those horses looked 100% before going to their owners. Well one problem I could not release the horses because the board bill was $600 for the two horses, which yes Deanna is responsible for.
So in conclusion to this day 10/12/09 I filed with my lawyer and with the FBI on DEANNA RUBIO on the account of Internet Fraud, Wire fraud, also proving statements from PAYPAL that the letters forwarded to me were also fake, which is FRAUD and Extortion, And finally Suing her for the total amount proven in paper and Email for the amount of $22,000 plus $2,000 cost plus $600 board cost, plus all my phone calls and time. Which will total around $30,000.
WHAT DEANNA is doing is wrong, she has to be put away for this mess. Anyone who is interested in joining me get their money back lets all work together. The more people we have, the more chance we have of all of us getting our money back.
