I first purchased a Panasonic TV in July. Recently, I was watching the TV when it suddenly went blank (black screen). I immediately called the cable company who assured me that it was not the cable.instead the television. Needless to say, I was shocked and then called Panasonic. This is when the journey began. I was kept on hold for minutes at a time each time I called. Most recently 15 minutes before someone answered the call.in fact, I remember thinking, "I may as well make myself a cup of coffee while I wait." I also recall being disconnected twice. On three occasions I did speak to Omar who assured me he would call me back once he looked into the sitation. Well, I never heard from Omar. Then there was Alonzo who said that Omar did everthing he was supposed to do except call me back to follow up. Therefore, Alonzo became the worker at that point. Alonzo too assured me that he contacted the Edwin TV and put a rush on the ordering of the products for the TV to be repaired on Monday, March 9 between 11:00 and 4:00 P.M. Well guess what! I received a call from Paula at Edwin TV stating that "somehow the parts did not get to the repairman." As such, they would need to reschedule the repair service. Needless to say, I was livid at this point. Mind you, I am not the type of person that goes into a rage when I don't get my way. However, you can clasify this as a rage. This to me is unacceptable. It is obvious that I was not told the truth.in fact after speaking to Fran Hayes from Edwin TV who tells me that one of the parts was not ordered, I am convinced that this was misrepresented. I am now told that the part was "overnighted" and should arrive tomorrow. Therefore, I am put on the schedule for no later than Wednesday, March 11.
Is it me or is this poor business? One would think with the economy the way it is that businesses would stay on top of problematic situations. Meanwhile, I remain upset.
