On feb. 23rd on our way to work our car broke down at approximately 5:45 a. M - outside temperature in the single numbers. We were very close to the dunkin donuts on county road in westbrook, me so we drove into their parking lot. My husband went inside to ask to use the phone and was declined saying that the phone was only for emergencies only. He explained that it was an emergency when the manger came out and told him that he would not be able to use their phone. We waited a long time before a stranger let us use his cell phone to call aaa. We were also told that we would not be able to stay inside to wait for help unless we bought something there such as coffee or a donut, which we did purchase. We waited another 1 1/2 hours before triple aaa came to "rescue us". We both felt totally abused and mortified that in this day and age we were treated so rudely. We will also be sending a complaint to the corporate office and a copy of this will also be sent to our lawyer
