I purchased steamer along with shampoo cartridges, It was a factory reconditioned and the owner said I could return (for refund) if something was wrong, he also told me it was a newer model. I got home and try to insert the cartridges which didn't fit. I went to the nearest Oreck to purchase correct cartridges and was informed that the machine I bought was 5 years old. I went home, inserted the correct shampoo cartridges and the machine did not work - no shampoo suction - no steam, nothing. I returned to National Floor care the very next morning to return the items and was told I was not entitled to a refund, they would try to fix machine & would give me a store credit for the cartridges they sold me. I think this is ridiculous, I didn't go home and have buyers remorse - the machine was sold to me broken - terrible, deceptive business practices going on in this store. I was told by the clerk "TUFF - go call the BBB" - unbelievable as he pointed to the small print that says "store credits 30 days purchase". Total loss $123.22!!! I originally was happy to give my business to a mom & pop store - that will not happen again!
