I replied to a job listing on Craig's List on 2/28. It directed me to the Satellite Career site. They must be connected with Newtork Careers since they (Network) sent me the follow up email on Monday. On Monday 3/2, I received and email requesting more info. I responded. Nothing earth shattering was requested - just education info.
Out of curiosity I did a google search on Network Careers and found this site. Thank GOD! Yes they have my phone number and address. I'm on the do not call list and will imediately report any telemarketers than call me.
I will no longer respond to local job listings on Craig's List unless they are properly identified. I actually got suspicious when the Salellite Careers site ask me too many questions about working from home.
I'm a little bit wiser now. Watch out for both of these companies.
