I am in the job market seeking technical/computer employment and have my resume posted on Careerbuilder and Monster. Within the past week I have received emails for job offers for an Analyst with Gallant Careers and Software Engineer with Mediware. However a closer look reveals the following:
1. Both are associated with Career Network.
2. Both offers request you complete an online "application" which asks for additional information over and beyond normal employment application (i.E. Name of Cell phone provider).
3. There is never any phone or email contact information for the original person sending the email for the job opportunity or the company offering the opportunities.
4. Job opportunities do not list where the opportunities are located.
5. I have not received any follow up from either of these contacts, despite follow up emails requesting further information regarding employment locations, recruiter contact information, etc.
6. Gallant Career employment application included offer to be contacted regarding insurance and further education.

It is my belief these and related employment offers thru Career Network are another method to harvest contact and email information. Because of this I am also contact the IN State Attorney General office and my Federal Senators to report these "offers" and request further action be taken to shut this operation down.
DO NOT fall for these bogus job/employment opportunities.
