Credit Report America began charging me for small amounts of money. The first one was $1.00, then 11.95, then 4.95, then $9.95 and so on until I called them this afternoon and demanded a full refund for everything which probably totals close to $100. I can't even imagine how they got my debit card number because I am very careful ordering anything on line. I would never buy an unknown service on line. I couldn't believe this was happening. I call it slamming!
They told me they would immediately close the account but that I could not possibly get any money back for past services? They also told me they have no physical address. They merely work out of a customer service center and they did not know anything about the company.
I also have a few other names charging to my debit card with different phone numbers and slightly different names but I think they are all connected. One of the other names is Checkcard Fraud Protection and its phone number is
