Ill start from the beginning. I saw an add on Craig list, looked like a great opportunity. It read: Hiring 30 people for management position.
Guarantee base $600. I called and was asked to come in that day for interview. I asked my questions during the interview, It was very clear what the job description was based in the add. I was to run 15 office appointments to advertise the Kirby vacuum. No door to door. Training would be provided. As long as I was able to make the 15 appointments my guarantee of $600 would be paid or I can earn commissions. Sounds good!!! Big mistake.
Went on the training. Did my requirements, and off I went.
As soon as my full week started guess what there wasn't enough appointments. As I started to listen and observe Mr. Howard, his attitude and behavior was unacceptable. He yelled, and swore at us (sales rep's). He called us idiots, stupid and he kept tell us how women lie to our faces and there full of shit! When they say they have to talk to there husbands before they can purchase a $1600 vacuum. He would say things like if you cant do this! Then go get a f#ken job. Although I will admit that there is a great opportunity to become a distributor of Kirby which I did see the opportunity and was very interested in this. But Mr. Howard made that impossible! He was very rude with his choice of words.
If I was the Kirby President, I would look into this man who is NOT! Representing there corporate office in a good ethical manner. My advise is don't waste your time in the Woburn office go somewhere else for this opportunity there are other Kirby offices in Boston area. This man needs to look in the mirror to see why his company is failing. He cant hold any staff members because no one will put up with his shit!!! His famous words are BE POSITIVE! He is the total opposite. People are already down on themself because of the economy, he just makes it worse. Please don't waste your time with DRH..
