On February 2 I received a notice to call in on a conference call regarding changes in DSD structure within the company. I had worked for them for over 6 months receiving honors in Company newsletter for top sales. I was informed that as of February 4, I would no longer have a job. No notice, no offer of severance.
This company was also behind on expenses in the tune of four weeks. They sent a letter telling us what to do with the inventory and that the final check would be sent on 2/13/09 and the warehouses would be inspected by 2/11/09. After that, no response or correspondence from them at all.
I have tried repeated times to find out information and no one in the company will contact me. They owe over 2700.00 in back wages, commissions, bonuses, vehicle re-embursement, and expenses. Since they will not answer, I have to assume that they are ripping me off. They are in violation of the Texas Payday Law, which I reminded them of and still got no answer.
I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against them in County JP court. I listed the owner, Nicholas Karabot as the defendant and sent them a copy of the filing, plus a copy of the Texas Payday Law. These people do not deserve to be able to do business in Texas, and Texas should not buy their products. Cheap products, very unethical and unprofessional conduct. Lets see if they show up in court.
