Caytlyn Underwriting Loam Mediate.com lLoan Modification BEWARE STEALING FROM DESPERATE HOMEOWNERS

We had been contacted by LoanMediate that promised that they would modify our existing loan with our lender Countrywide. The young lady stated that they have a "relationship" with Countrywide and that they are around the corner from them and that LoanMediate deals with them all the time.

After they received a deposit for my modification in the amount of $1000 for a total cost of $3000 to modify my loan, I never heard from them again.
I even called my lender and they stated that they never received and information regarding anyone working on a modification of my loan?

I called and called and only got their voice mail and never received a call back to the status of my modification. I have been in the dark ever since they persuaded me to use their service.
They promised me many things but cannot prove them because they had not been in writing so no reason to state these things, the rest of this I can.

The biggest lie of all is that they are not a law firm or have any attorneys working for them. When I called the agent back about this and stated I wanted to know which attorneys they are working with, she stated that they do not have attorneys on staff and that they do not need one to do a modification. This is what I was told when I signed with them after I was denied by my bank. They prey on honest people that are falling on hard times and tell them to not make payments on their mortgage??? That they will get the bank to let you off the hook on those past due payments???
I have tried to get my $1000.00 dollar deposit back within their 15 day period but they never returned my call and that time had expired... How convenient!!!
I feel scammed and will be contacting my local DA office to file a formal complaint.
Beware this company is one of many that say they are working with attorneys and are actually not they are not licensed to do loan modifications, i checked with the department of real estate in california.
Save your money and go to an attorney directly or a licensed and approved to help you do this so you do not lose your home!
