I had a similar problem with them too. I signed a 12 month contract, but the last 4 months I was unable to go because of school and work. I didn't have a problem paying for the 12 months since I had signed the contract, but I did not want to renew the contract. Well, after my 12 months was up I got a letter saying that I had to pay another month. I called the company and they said that I had to give a 30 day notice to cancel or they would automatically renew the contract for me on a month to month basis. I told them that I only signed up for 12 months and wasn't interested in going to the class anymore. They said that I needed to cancel it through the school and they couldn't cancel it. I contacted the school and they said they would take care of it. Well, I got a call to call member solutions and when I called them, they said that my account is still showing as open and that I owe 2 months now. I basically told them that it's not getting paid and they said they'd note it on my account. I didn't realize that companies still had contracts with automatic renewals.
