Repossed and resold truck but did not transfer title

My truck was repossed from me in 2001 while under chapter 13 bankruptcy. I had wrecked it out 4 wheeling. It was in the body shop in fort worth tx when they repossed it. About 6 months later i get a ticket in the mail from denver colorado showing a picture of the tag and some lady on the phone running a red light. I contacted denver and told them the truck had been repossed earlier that year. I also contacted first city funding and told them. They assured me everything would be fine. Today 02/13/09 I checked my credit report to buy a house and lo and behold there was a collection from denver for the amount of the ticket. After all the harrassing phone calls and even trying to reposses the truck while under chapter 13 bankruptcy at least they could have transferred the title when they sold it...
