They tried to claim I had won loads of money and then asked that I send them money so that they could send me documents to sign

Lastest mail from Jeff Common says:

Thanks for your email, I want you to understand that this is not a scam, I won't waste my time of internet trying to scam someone while I have some thing to do with my time.

You can now go ahead and make the payment so the bank can release these documents for your signature, for them to make the transfer into your account.
