SEVERAL people who trusted their property with Unique Consignments formally located at 2995 Preston Rd. Suite 135 Frisco, TX. 75034 have been left with no property and no payment for their property sold.
In many peoples eyes, owner Charlotte Jagwan is nothing more than a two bit thief and slick con artist who has a history of ripping people off. Below are the sequence of events for Unique Consignments over the past few months.
*Unique Consignments filed chapter 7 on November 19th. 2008 Bankruptcy number 08-43103 in the Eastern District of Texas. Unique Consignments was still accepting furniture on November 20th
*Owner Charlotte Jagwan was served by a deputy from the Collin county constables office for not paying taxes on December 8th
*There was a "Suspicious" fire on December 17th. Through a reliable source, information tells that the only furniture that was left in the fire was garbage and had almost no value prior to the fire. Fire is under investigation by Frisco fire marshal Phil Forbus
* U.C. Was EVICTED by leasing agent on December 26 for failure to pay rent.
* Most furniture removed from location by Charlotte prior to being evicted & fire
*U.C. Has not been returning phone calls through mid November to present when clients were inquiring about property at location
*U.C. Has been misleading customers on whereabouts of furniture and not providing any documents of property sold and/or moved
*U.C. Made no effort informing clients of closing business and/or moving inventory
*When questioned about the fire and the eviction notices, Charlotte replied thatthe store did have water damages and were currently moving across the street in the Office Depot center. She also stated that the current owners of the center are not interested in keeping small business which was the reason she gave for being evicted. She stated that they weresolidcompany and not to worry she would call everyone soon.
This reply was a complete lie. First off, she was evicted for not paying rent, not because the owners didn't want small businesses. Second, she never called. Third, she is not solid because she filed chapter 7 and was still accepting peoples furniture! The list goes on and on.
The Better Business Beuro checked on December 28th stated that Unique Consignments was no longer a business and had six prior complaints consisting of not being paid at all, not being paid at the correct amount and poor customer service. On January 4th, Charlotte told us that our furniture had been sold and that a check was being mailed out on Friday the 9th. What a shock, we have never received a check.
We also know that several pieces of furniture was donated to the Frisco Family Service Center which intern can be used for a tax reduction. We spoke with the Community Service Coordinator and he knew of Charlotte's reputation and was not surprised to hear that we were having problems. The Frisco Family Service Center is located in Frisco off of main street.
Robison's assistantsent everyone to Mark Weisbart who was going to be handling the insurance claim. Mark, said he wants nothing to do with this case as well. Mark also stated that he will most likely be dropping and closing the case because there is talk about insurance fraud.
Too many people, including former employees, have claimed that she rigs the books, lies to clients, sells property for a higher price, then tells the owner of the property she sold it for far less than originally quoted.

I have been in contact with a Sgt Brunson with the Frisco police dept. The fire is still under investigation and Sgt. Brunsonis currently awaiting for the report from the Frisco fire chief Phil Forbus.
Charlotte definitely know the laws and loopholes she can slither through to avoid prosecution. However, even though it is highly probable none of us will ever see a dime or our property again, you are urged to help put this person where she belongs.
If there is foul play, and I say "If" strictly for legal purposes, then the victims of Unique Consignment need to be step up and expose this business for the alleged scam that it is.
Everyone taken by this alleged scam shouldgo and file a civil suit against her. To file a civil suit, you need to go to the Collin Justice Of The Peace Court located between Stonebrook & Preston in Frisco.
