On August 8 a known email aquaintance sent a Reunion.com email asking us to join. Once the email was opened the computer flashed a Windows official looking screen that stated your computer was infected. When the microsoft.com address was typed in the address line we were directed to what we thought was microsoft.com and recommended to purchase the antivirus and were provided 3 years for $79.95. After allegedly having virus protection, as the security dashboard reflected we did, suddenly after December 26 our computer was unprotected. After some follow-up we have now learned we were part of a scam. If you have purchased this file a complaint with your bank.
