Shafted by Billingware AV2009 Fake Anti Virus Company

I was using my computer when multiplle apparent virusses appeared with alsorts of horrid names (37 to be exact!) This was followed by messages from APPARENTLY Microsoft explaining all the risks that my computer was facing.

I followed the links to buy virus protection for $40 and was directed through the process that resulted in me being charged $140. I got onto my credit card company to see if they can stop the payment process and certainl the small print $15 that was going to be continually taken from my account for the pleasure of having fake virus protection.

I searched all the links and found that this scam had been done before... All over the world and that people have been sent between third parties and dead ends trying to get a refund.

So we can add New Zealand to the list of sucked in countries now too. It makes you wonder how people can do this to others! Hope this gets to you before they do!
