My patio cover was damaged by an unusually heavy snow fall. I filed a claim with my home owners insurance company - Balboa Insurance group. The adjuster estimated the cost of repairs at $1200. I contacted three Patio Cover companies to get estimates for the repairs. The estimates I received ranged from $6500 to $7200. Balboa Insurance Group subtracted my $1000 deductible from their $1200 estimate and sent me a check for $200. WAIT A MINUTE! The cover is going to cost me $6500 to repair... Not $1200!!! I proceed to call the adjuster but, She NEVER ANSWERS HER PHONE.
I have left DOZENS of voice mail messages for my adjuster and several of her "Supervisors". I have been leaving voicemail messages for Three Weeks and nobody has called back. This is simply OUTRAGEOUS! Several of the "Supervisors" stated on their voicemail recordingS that they would call back within 24 hours.
Weeks have gone by. They haven't called back. I asked a "receptionist" to be put on hold until an Adjuster was available to speak with me. She told me it was not possible to put me on hold!!! HOW CAN THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS AND STAY IN BUSINESS???
