Delaying repayment for returned article

I purchased a portable dvd playerwith refurb.com under order no: 380524. As i was not satisfied, ireturned the article, after getting the confirmation and RMA number from compant. I sent on31 dec, 08 by package service parcel, vide delivery confirmation number 0308 2040 0001 3039 5336. Post ioffice. Post office attempted delivery on 7th jan. And left notice. I informed by mail on 8th to pick up delivery. I phoned the companies 3 times and sent e mails 3 times, but the company is not taking any stepsto collect the package from P. Owhen i called P. O today, they tell me the company was informed to come and pci up and that there are lot of packages addressed to RMA dept. Lying in the post office. Their usual tactics is to avoid taking delivery and the articles will go back to the consumer. Orby delaying the procedure, they get the benefit of our money. There is no responsible answer for the phone calls. Their onlyanswer seem to be that they would consider only when the article is in their table.By returning the areticle, by way of deduction and postage, i lose about $37. It is more than 2 weeks, since the P. O left notice and they will return the packag to me. The companythough admits my mails, they do not reply. It is the duty of the company to honour the consumer and make up for the loss.
