On January 12 I authorized this company to withdraw $3.88 for postage and handling for a computer program which they would send to me FREE; NO OTHER CHARGES!
On January 19, this same company initiated a charge of $72.21 to my bank account.
I immediately called my bank to file a stop payment on the charge and was informed by the bank that there is nothing I can do to stop the charge until it has been removed from my account.
Because of this charge, I will not have enough funds to pay my February rent as I have been searching for work since Labor Day to no avail.
THIS IS JUST PLAIN AND SIMPLY WRONG! Especially when our tax dollars are bailing out our financial institutions.
