*notice..!! This ripoff has nothing to do with Google search engine - many rip-off businesses use the Google name to fool consumers.

In December '08, I responded to an email job posting offering a work-from-home opportunity. The ad stated thousands could be made every month using a product called Google Pro. A link was provided, requesting $3.88 for an 'information packet' that would be rushed to my home. I filled out the online form here:

I never received anything at all including a confirming email. About 3 days later this same company charged my acct at paypal $72.21. I didnt see this for another week and found it on my acct. I immediately called the number that was on the paypal charge which was 888-657-8585 and an operator answered it saying that she represented several companies, one of which was Internet Initiative. I said I never agreed to be charged the $72.21 and she said she would cancel my membership as of then but that they would not refund my $72.21 or the $3.88 even when I told them I received nothing at all. I found out later that they were going to charge me every month the $72.21.
This is definitely a fraudulent company.
